Big Love gave us a cast of layered, complex characters, all living firmly in shades of grey, and (in large part) allowed us to make up our minds about who were the heroes, and who were the villains. The show's strongly polarizing premise could have meant certain failure, but whose writing, acting, and plot pacing were so strong that they continue to resonate with audiences!
