This series, set in 2019, is a bit dated now but was far ahead of its time when it first debuted! Our protagonist, Max, is a bio-engineered supersoldier who escapes the secret U.S. government facility, Manticore, where she was born, raised, and trained. 10 years later, a 19 year old Max is trying to keep a low profile while attempting to find the rest of her Manticore siblings.
