The Nicene Creed 10: Filioque?
Today we begin looking at the final section of the Creed which primarily deals with the Holy Spirit. We’ll consider not only what the creed says about the Spirit, but we will also try to make sense of the Latin word “filioque” which was added to the creed by the western church in the 6th century. Who is the Holy Spirit and where does He come from?

Join us as this Lent as we explore the historic Nicene Creed, a 4th century Christian faith statement. Each week we launch two new episodes on Wednesdays and Fridays.
