Description

Seidu Ajanako is a Ghanese Professional Beach Volleyball Player, Sand Coach and former indoor volleyball sensation. After winning the NAIA's back-to-back at Cal-Baptiste University, he stood out on the regional scene in the US from coast-to-coast with a heightened level of success on the indoor scene, the grass and the beach. His most proud moment was representing his home country of Ghana at FIVB Amsterdam in 2015. He continues to coach volleyball at the capital city and encourages all to "pay it forward." He still remains in the top 5 in the record books at Baptiste, playing predominantly D1 NCAA teams in the region.

Tune in, as we chat up being a good ambassador to the sport, how volleyball forms "family," what made him choose volleyball, playing college with his cousin Shamzu, the challenge of financing indoor and beach volleyball in Ghana, his respect and admiration for AVP'er Nick Lucena, which sport he prefers more at the present (indoor and sand), the advantage of only having one partner instead of a whole team, the difference between "Spanish" and "Washington Heights," the co-promotion with "Project: Serve" and Bobby Jones, some of his favorite partners, Todd Roger's intelligence, and MORE!

NOTE: It was "Arnie" Ball at IPFW. I mistakenly said "Archie."
