Adam Johnson is American Beach Volleyball legend, multiple-time AVP champion, former college standout and sand volleyball coach. A promising HS upstart at Laguna, he was recruited by USC - one of the most prestigious men's college volleyball programs at the time - where his team made the NCAA finals three of his four years. His individual accolades include NCAA Player of the Year (1986), Southern California's all-time "Dream Team," highlighting his #9 Jersey being retired. After a short stint with the indoor national team and a professional league in Italy, he took his talents to the beach where he won 44 titles (10th all-time), multiple-time defensive player of the year, and King of the Beach in 1994.
