A former college lacrosse player, he switched to the sand game in 2014 where his ascension to being among the best on the domestic scene was rapid. He has multiple individual awards, including most improved and even a crowd pleaser award. His versatility has allowed him to play with multiple partners with multiple top ten finishes in the AVP, NVL, highlighting a win at "Motherlode" with Casey Jennings
