Early in the memorial, Peter's niece, violist Sarah Darling, remembered her uncle and played a beautiful piece on her viola, which set the tone for a beautiful memorial celebration of Peter's life with family members and friends joining in and sharing memories and stories about Peter's impact, rapport, humor, and puns. Peter was my uncle ( his identical twin brother was my father, who passed in 1984)
