" This mix features the musical selection / mixing of 1/2 of HOT COFFEE ( James ). Being our second mix for this new project, I wanted to introduce the listener to some of my favorite jams that really set a natural percussive mood which is a staple of all our HOT COFFEE sets. Originally we had planned out a mix for this, but didn’t feel the vibe. Placing myself into a more explorative mindset and pressing record, led to a mix that takes you on a journey from a mid tempo acid jazz groove to swinging funky house and beyond. I hope you enjoy listening as much as i did making it, dancing, sweating, and grooving all over our half finished Sticky Fingers Collective studio, this mix helped reaffirm my love of DJ'ing and motivate us to take things further!
