We're back with the seventeenth edition of the DC House Grooves Meet the Locals Podcast, the time around featuring a great mix from Heather Femia, recorded live on the patio at Eighteenth Street Lounge in Washington DC on September 13, 2015. Heather is one of the hardest working DJs in town, and we're happy to welcome her to the podcast. Over to Heather for a few words about the mix: "It is always a pleasure to play at Eighteenth Street Lounge, the crowd is really into the music. I was a touch nervous on this one, leading into Sarah Myers and Tara Brooks I felt the mix needed to be more tech than the housey thing I'm more known for. It really gave me a chance to be a bit arty in the early part of the set. Admittedly, it all went happy and housey at the end, but I think Sarah cut me some slack and transitioned into her set flawlessly anyway. "
