This episodes theme is Manchester's Hacienda Nightclub. I couldn't even walk when it opened it's doors in 1982. Not because I was more spaced out than Neil Armstrong, but because I was barely a year old. Come '97 when it closed it's doors, I'd just finished my GCSE's, but even then those remixes of the Happy Mondays by Oakenfold were captivating to me on Pete Tongs Essential Selection on Radio 1.
