Bite-sized Content. Keeping things short and “to the point.” Entertaining material is a must. 20 minute, “TED Style” presentations to keep things moving quickly. Why all these changes? The common refrain is that people’s attention spans have gotten shorter. The truth is, attention spans are as long as they need to be based on what’s interesting. Today I’ll explain how your material can be as long as you want it to be — as long as it’s good.
3:01 Today's Topic: Attention Spans NOT As Short As You Think
5:57 Point I: Everyone of us has a very long attention span for things that we actually want.
9:28 Point II: Maybe you're showing your product to someone who's not interested.
10:31 People want to keep things short for what they believe are the short attention spans of the public because they're trying to reach "everybody".
