A girl once asked me why I wouldn't just focus on doing one thing. I could become really great at that one thing, she said. I couldn't argue with her logic, but there were some things shie didn't understand which I didn't bother explaining to her. I’ll share them with you here, though.
Being a generalist used to be frowned upon. You were a “jack of all trades, and master of none,” as the saying goes.
