The job of a leader… actually, let me start by talking about what a leader's job is NOT.
A leader's job is not to get all the glory.
A leader's job is not to “be in charge” and give orders.
A leader's job is not to please people.
A leader's job is not to pass all the hard work off on his #2-5 people while he supervises.
I will talk about all of these in due time. Today, it's the pleasing people topic.
What a leader should do is ALWAYS guided by: what is best for the group? What gets US closer to OUR goal?
If that happens to disappoint you, so be it.
