A lot of people are chasing relevance, and in this episode, I explain why that’s a losing game. Relevance is a moving target controlled by trends, algorithms, and people who don’t really care about you. When you try to stay relevant, you give your authority away and start reacting instead of leading. The people who actually matter are not trying to be current, they are trying to be accurate. Long-term influence comes from standing on something solid, not from following what’s popular in the moment.
Show Notes:
[04:58]#1 Relevance forces reaction instead of decision.
[14:27]#2 Relevance dilutes your standards.
[16:25]#3 Serious people are not looking for what's current. They're looking for things that work consistently and that always work. They are things of substance.
