I started making YouTube videos out of necessity.
An unsigned basketball player itching to play professionally, It bothered me that I had all this game that no one would know about. I was in empty gyms practicing alone. Projecting into the future, it was possible I would use up all my able-bodied basketball days toiling on lonely hardwood, having nothing to show for it but good health and a bunch of great workouts.
I needed the world to know who I was.
