I make a note to call my mother and grandmothers every week.
Not because we have a lot to talk about -- their lives aren't super exciting to me -- but because I know the era they're from wasn't digital. The way they know to reach and connect with people, when it can't be done in person, is the phone. Facebook messages and texts just don't do it.
Unfortunately, not many of my cousins understand this.
Today's show is about making other people happy, which often takes much less than we think it takes to achieve.
