Going to my first Pro basketball exposure camp (think job Fair, but for playing a sport), I didn’t ask anyone for advice. I didn’t need any tips. I didn’t prepare a hype-up pep talk for myself. Yet these days, I get countless requests from players heading to camps or some similar event — tryout, a big game, — and they seem to want to gather as many last-minute remember-this biggest as possible.
And that’s the exact reason they fail.
