I was playing driveway football, and dropping pass after pass during one game. The quarterback decided, and even announced, that he wasn’t passing me the ball anymore because I couldn’t catch.
Playing another game later that same day, with my nerves calmed down, I actually caught the passes thrown to me. One kid who had been at the first game quipped, “dude is showing his skills now.”
