Sometimes people tell me how the stuff I say is really motivational for them. When I speak to meeting planners they sometimes mention how I can fill their need for a motivational speaker. The truth is, I’m not really trying to motivate you. That’s your job. I consider it more reminding you than motivating you.
And when I talk to Professionals, I will even say it: I’m not here to motivate you. If you need to be motivated to be here, you shouldn’t be here.
Maybe you’re not yet a pro at what you do. But you want to be. Well, this is the perfect place to start.
