Basketball: everyone wants to play it. 100% of that everyone would gladly do it as a job. 99.9% never will even come close. And it seems everyone has a strong opinion on how the game should be best played. Funny.
Professional sports is a cutthroat fucking business. It’s a buyer’s market — meaning more choices (player) than opportunities to play — and you have to beat out thousands for one shot.
With as many athletes who come to me for help and advice, I feel too many of them don’t fully grasp the hill they’re trying to climb. Today’s show is my attempt and making it clear.
