One reason I became an entrepreneur is because I knew acutely what I didn’t want: to need anyone’s permission or approval to do what I wanted to do.
Now, maybe you’re not that type, and you don’t have the same circumstances. That’s fine — because what I’m talking about today is not that type of approval. I’m talking about the approval we unconsciously seek in the form of agreement, fitting in, and doing what others see as acceptable just so we don’t stand out for the (supposedly) wrong reason.
