Description

Welcome to another episode of the Meaning of Health where we discuss vaccination policy with Dr Katie Attwell, a researcher from the University of Western Australia. You may have heard Katie speaking about vaccinations and vaccine hesitancy in the media recently as she heads up Coronavax: Preparing Community and Government project as is a member of number of Australia and international committees and advisory groups that provide advice on vaccination policy. We were excited to get an opportunity to hear about where it all began for Katie, researching the Middle East conflict for her PhD, before getting involved in looking at vaccination policy, and mandatory vaccinations in particular. Katie's work has taken her to some interesting parts of the world, which we also discuss. We hope you enjoy the conversation.
