When I arrived outside Vancouver's DIY 333 venue shortly before the show, most of the members of San Francisco post-punk band Creative Adult were snoring in the tour van. The band had gone pretty hard the night before in Seattle, so I managed to convince the band's guitarist, Michael Bingham, to talk with me while he enjoyed a cigarette and beers. The band's 2016 record, Fear of Life, nearly destroyed Creative Adult (and the band's friendships) and I couldn't wait to hear the entire story!
