I met Swedish DJ and electronic music producer Kasbo (aka Carl Garsbo) right after a post-show meet-and-greet. I was nervous to hang out after the show, but Kasbo assured me the only thing I was keeping him away from was sleep. He describes his music as "dance music that makes you want to cry" and memorable quotes like that had me looking forward to this chat.
This year, Kasbo has released his debut full length record, Places We Don't Know, on Counter Records (indie electronic superstar duo ODESZA's record label) and he's touring North America on his first headlining tour. Pretty cool accomplishments for a guy who's barely the drinking age in the US, right?
