One week after each Meet the Movement entry I’ll be uploading a mix featuring strictly artists and affiliates from the movement I interviewed. These mixes are intended for use as the background music for each interview, but also as a celebration of the movement.
Italdred is the focus this time around, and this mix contains strictly tracks and artists from the five compilations that they’ve released since the label began in January 2014. Given their origins hip-hop makes for the bulk of the mix, but it speeds up towards the end, varying into the ambient, grime and footwork sounds that Italdred have embraced as of late.
