This morning we contrast the savage horror of Hamas, sickeningly - but importantly, and independently - detailed in a recent New York Times article, "Screams Without Words," with the magnificent maturity, commitment, and care of others demonstrated today by many of Israel's teens, based on an inspiring article in Times of Israel by Shayna Goldberg. We quote from Yosef Jackman, in 11th grade, whose family once lived in Montreal, just before the funeral of his older brother, Ephraim, who fell in battle in Gaza last week. "Only in Israel can you raise kids like this."
