This morning we explore why Chanukah is primarily observed at home and not where it logically belongs, in the synagogue. We share an incredible story from Rabbi Shlomo Riskin about a group of crypto-Jews who reopened their synagogue after it had been closed for 500 years. And we trace the transformation that takes place within our home and within ourselves as we light the Menorah each night, based on the writing of Rabbi Yerachmiel Danziger and an insight from Rabbi Meilech Biderman, plus a practical suggestion from Melinda Ribner.
