Dr Corbett opens up Jeremiah’s other book of the Bible, Lamentations. A book of poetic prayers, we see Jeremiah pour out his mourning soul over the destruction of Jerusalem. Jeremiah paints a bleak picture of Jerusalem as he describes how God’s heart had been broken by his own people.
