Dr Corbett opens up Jeremiah’s other book of the Bible, Lamentations. A book of poetic prayers, we see Jeremiah pour out his mourning soul over the destruction of Jerusalem. Because of his love for his city, Jeremiah had rebuked their ways and had told of God’s ominous word for them only to face rejection. What do we risk when we choose the path of love?
