Description

Lee Holland is the Island's national coach.  Originally from Liverpool, Lee got into swimming at 14 and being a tall lean kid took to it quickly, gaining recognition quickly and within two years was competing at national level.

An opportunity in his early twenties took him into coaching and around 10 years ago got approached to move to the Island to take up the role of national swimming coach.

We discuss his background, his approach to coaching now, why his heart rate is higher than his swimmers and whether they have lifeguards at the Olympics?
