After breaking her back as a teenager it shaped Ruth’s mind that being a physio was a career path to pursue.
After attending uni in Sheffield Ruth worked with GB gymnastics in euro and world competition. Returning to the Island to take up a role at the IOM hospital, Ruth began to volunteer as a pyhsio for the IOM team at Island Games and Commonwealth Games. Over time Ruth joined IOM Sport to expand her work with the academy and those on sport aid.
Working not only in sports physio but many forms of physio, Ruth now heads up a team of over 70 staff at the IOM hospital as well as completing private work.
