Title: Don't give notes
This is a common thing said in the musical theatre community, and in fact, the performer community at large.
That being said, it's good to remind ourselves that it is not okay to give other people notes. That is why we have a director.
Even if you are right and it will help out the project as a whole, it only causes animosity between two performers.
There is no win in that.
At the end of the day, the best thing you can do is keep your eyes on your own plate and deliver your very best on that stage.
