After the wonderful newer version of West Side Story on the big screen came out, I am super stoked about upcoming movie musicals!
It is not the same as Live Theater. I repeat, it is not the same as live theatre.
However, there used to be movie musicals made all the time and then somewhere down the road they just stopped.
I want them to come back! It won't take away from live theatre. If anything, I think it will help revive it.
We have a newer, younger generation coming into this world and we need to find ways for them to easily access musical theatre.
