'Invasion' stems from the idea of breaking genres. The track takes a little bit of every techno-influenced genre and invades its identity.
I love putting elements together that don't traditionally stick and try to make them work. The bassline defines this, as it initially sounds a little bouncy or boppy, though as it distorts and mutates over time it turns the track into something more heavy and driving.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with this concept of “genre invasion", as it strongly captures the sonic foundation of this EP.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did creating it.
