Description

Ken Gordon, owner and Chef of Portland's Kenny & Zuke's Delicatessen, opened his first restaurant two blocks east of Thomas Keller in New York City in 1986. The two dined at each others' restaurants. We cover one of their histories here, which includes the disappointment of microwaved corned beef, the joy of hand-sliced pastrami, why Portland isn't the best walking city in the country, and two offspring on exciting career paths.
