Ruben and I met the first year I opened Pure Life, my program in Costa Rica, and we immediately hit it off. Every time I talk to Ruben I learn something new and this interview was no exception. Ruben is a licensed therapist, speaker, coach, counselor, pastoral counselor (which we talk about in the interview), and author of a book called The Road Home, a guide for parents of kids coming home from therapeutic treatment programs. He currently spends most of his time coaching, running expedition workshops for his clients, and traveling with his son, which he talks about in depth.
