Description

We don’t often meet brave people in our life, but when we do, it smacks us in the face and leaves us with an impression that we’ll never be able to shake off. This was my experience at interviewing one of the most courageous people I’ve ever met.

My friend Craig Brewer, APAC Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Strategic Sourcing Lead for TW Power based in Melbourne was diagnosed with melanoma, a very dangerous form of skin cancer, in 2018. He looked at cancer in the eye and miraculously beat it. He owes his life to the real SuperHeroes of our time; nurses, doctors, oncologists, and those who help run the healthcare systems we take for granted.

Craig will share his journey with coming to terms with a Stage 4 diagnosis. Returning to work was a welcome distraction, and how a radical treatment called Immunotherapy allowed his own body to destroy cancer cells. We will, at one time in our lives, be affected by cancer.

This topic is very close to my heart, so tune in to listen to Craig’s brave story of how he left his old self behind and now looks at life through a different lens.

Let’s do our part to support those going through difficult times, whether physical, mental illness, or anxieties experienced due to the lockdown.
