My mother, Carole A. Booker, passed away in July 2008. A family friend recently came across an old video of us that was filmed Christmas Day back around the mid 80s...I was a teenager...She was calling me to come watch my niece Erikka open her gifts. I captured the sound of her voice just so I can listen to it whenever I miss my mommy!
Those of us who have lost a loved one....we often go to extreme measures to keep them close, don't we?...listening to old recordings...reading old messages or letters they sent, looking at old photos and recalling the past... etc, yup...that's me!
