This week we're checking out the shiny new Save-on-Foods in Coquitlam, which boasts a new premium grocery experience with made-to-order options and the retailer's latest BC VQA wine and cider store. Director of Wine Steve Moriarty is joined by Store Manager Ralph Peragine, Wine Development Specialist Amanda Carnegie, and Paul Cavezza from the meat department, to highlight all of what they offer. We also hear from Liam Berti, winemaker for Backyard Vineyards in Langley, about the specialized products they've made with SOF; he also updates us on harvest in the Fraser Valley; and we hear from Maurice Hamilton, founder and owner of Pacific Breeze Winery, the first urban winery in British Columbia, located a skytrain ride away in New Westminster.
