This mix was recorded Monday Sept 5th 2016 at the last sunset of this year's burning man. By the end of the festival the pioneer 800 mixer fader levels were no longer working but we managed to stick them at full volume, and use only the gain knobs for volume. The cross fader was no more and the fader itself simply fell out of the mixer.... the headphone jack had dropped down inside the mixer. We fished it back up to the hole using zip ties. Using 2 pocket knives we creating enough leverage that we were able to plug the headphones into the headphone jack. Knowing if I pulled the headphones out of the mixer jack that it would fall back into the mixer, I realized this was my last chance to record a mix at burning man. so have a listed and here we go !!!
