Listen

Description

Sunday morning was full of praise, prayer, fellowship and to listen to God's Word.
We are facing a crisis of loneliness in our increasingly fragmented and individualised Western world. In the UK, nearly half the adult population report feeling lonely at least some of the time, and about 4 million people experience chronic loneliness – that is, feeling isolated, sadness and disconnection often or always.

This is tragic, because as human beings we are made for relationships. As we consider our human identity, who we are as God has designed it, the Bible is clear that we are made for meaningful, loving relationships. That is the case because we are made from an overflow of God’s love – made in the image of a Trinitarian God who has existed as a relationship of love between Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for all eternity. As God is a relationship of love, so we are made to know, experience and enjoy that love, and to image that love in the world.
