When was the last time you stopped to behold someone or something? Probably not recently. The term "behold" has fallen out of favor in popular language. But nonetheless, the book of Matthew beckons us to behold, to look with surprise, at the nativity. To come and see with fresh eyes the Christmas story, and witness a tyrant king and magi-wizards respond to the heralding of Christ's arrival.
