The 91st Psalm brings great relief to the reader- God is our refuge. He protects us and cares for us, however we are not shielded from pain and suffering. This passage actually promises that God will be with us through all things, and in His care is better than being away from Him. Are you so close to God that you are in His care, or are you far away blaming Him for not protecting you?
