There is something special about New Years Day. It is a fresh beginning of what could come and what could be. However, we also do not know what difficulties that may be ahead. We never would have thought that New Years Eve 2019 would bring us one of the hardest years ever. And now, in the aftermath, our world has changed and may never be the same again. This has brought so much fear, anxiety and pain…what should we expect as we face 2023? This year, we are asking God to bring His peace. In Philippians 4, we see the perfect answer on how we can find peace, even if the new year brings us more chaos. It may be a new year, but we have nothing to fear because we have the same God.
