How often we forget what God has done to save us from our sin. Then we add more confusion to the mix by trying to earn God's approval, favor, and acceptance. However, that is not the true gospel The beauty the gospel is that we will never be able to measure up, but Jesus has done all the work for us. How does our faith change when we accept God's forgiveness is a free gift based on our need, not our doing.
