The canonical understanding of the term "underground" describes the music of the Bad Zu project in the best possible way - the generally recognized traditions in his tracks are utterly mixed. In one of his compositions, both the traditional British breakbeat and the no less traditional British grime, as well as the African rhythms of gqom and Brazilian carioca, can coexist. Rhythmic electronics live here in sync with live drums, and the polyphony of genres is supplemented with feats with Russian rapper Saluki or weedwave producer Summer of Haze - and even so the music retains an absolutely understandable harmony.
Reason for that is honest work with meanings and concepts. Bad Zu does not shift the emphasis to the concept, but by all means speaks of what he felt and saw: the globalist culture floods the streets of every city, and it is completely pointless to fight this.

Каноничное понимание термина «андеграунд» как нельзя лучше описывает музыку проекта Bad Zu — общепризнанные традиции в его треках смешаны донельзя. В одной его композиции могут соседствовать как традиционный для Британии брейкбит, так и не менее традиционный для нее же грайм, а также африканские ритмы гкома и бразильской кариоки. Ритмичная электроника здесь живет синхронно с живыми барабанами, а к многоголосию жанров добавляются фиты с российским рэпером Saluki или видвейв-продюсером Summer of Haze — и даже при этом в музыке сохраняется абсолютная понятная гармония.
Причина: честная работа со смыслами и понятиями. Bad Zu не смещает акцент на концепт, а всеми средствами говорит о том, что прочувствовал и увидел: глобалистская культура заполоняет улицы каждого города, и бороться с этим совершенно бессмысленно. Поэтому остается закрыть глаза на религию, цвет кожи, предпочтения и убеждения и просто отдаться всеобщему танцу.
