TMM Records prepares their 205th release and with it the label boss Vegim brings in the heavy artillery.
The American audiophile now Berlin based DJ, Producer, Master Engineer and all round sonic saviour… Tim Xavier rocks out and brings some fresh new material to the fore. Three new originals going under the name of Blasted EP showed up at our door, and damn they’re good.
Ranging from a dubby, broken, modular style trip called “No Bad Man” to “Little Black Dress” and it’s dreamy, deep tones.
“Blasted” gets going with a warm sub stab under some glitchy crackles. Funky and dark, the lead slowly expands to create a metallic stutter, bending time and space as it progresses. Full zest and gritty textures, this is a quality DJ tool from an influential veteran.
