The 1980s era was the decade referred to by many older dancehall fans and entertainers as the time "when dancehall was nice'' Although reggae's biggest superstar, Bob Marley, passed away in 1981, reggae continued to grow in popularity and DJ 745 showcases some of those voices and players of musical instruments in this 2 hour VINYL special.
Artists on the playlist include Tristan Palmer, Sugar Minott, Papa Michigan, Dennis Brown, Freddie Mcgregor and Wayne Smith with productions from Henry Junjo Lawes, George Phang, Jah Thomas, Sly & Robbie and Linval Thompson.
