Boating, grilling out, and fireworks all sound like a lot of fun, but this can be a challenging weekend for those who struggle with behavioral, learning, and socialization challenges. Lack of prediction and an increase in sensory demand can create a lot of stress/anxiety. This Fourth of July weekend, try some of these tips to increase that control and prediction to help the festivities run a little smoother. And remember, there are NO purposeless behaviors!!
