Description

Often in our profession, we do an exam, but perhaps we don’t fully know why we’re measuring the things we’re measuring and how to take those results to determine how and why you should recommend care. Another challenge is understanding how and what to check when re-assessing and appropriately changing the care plan.

Remember, we don’t treat scans, symptoms, x-rays, or postural distortions! We need to be able to use our clinical exam and findings as a clue to the bigger clinical picture for each patient. Don’t get caught in the deficit model!!! We need to understand what measurements and scans tell us about the neuro-structural shift and how it impacts the developing brain.
